The national finals of the 15th Charoen Pokphand Cup National Market Survey and Analysis Competition concluded successfully on May 25th. After intense competition, students from our college achieved remarkable results in this national event. The project titled Gourmet Journey Along the Belt and Road: Consumer Analysis and Marketing Strategies for Imported Snacks from B&R Countries in the Chinese Market, jointly completed by undergraduate students Zheng Yu and Yu Boya, and graduate student MUSHREF MOHAMMED QASEM SAEED (an international student), won the First Prize in the International Student Category of the national finals. Another project, Focused on Knowledge, Committed to Payment: A Study on Generation Z's Product Preferences and Consumption Willingness on Knowledge Payment Platforms, by undergraduate students Xin Ziting, Xu Yinuo, and their teammates, also received the First Prize in the same category.
The project From Function to Empathy: Why Are Sanitary Products Falling Short?—A Study on Consumption Patterns and Consumer Preferences of Sanitary Napkins in Nanjing from a Female Care Perspective, developed by undergraduate students Gao Yayao, Wang Xinyue, Yuan Xinru, Zhang Baoyi, and Jiang Yuchen, was awarded the Second Prize in the Undergraduate Category. Similarly, the project Change and Leap: How Can Digital Governance Succeed?—An Analysis of Spatiotemporal Evolution and Strategic Choices of Provincial Digital Economy Based on Big Data, by undergraduate students Bu Fang, Min Siping, Qiu Enqi, Sun Fengyao, and Liang Yuhui, also secured the Second Prize in the Undergraduate Category.
Additionally, the team led by Zheng Yu, Yu Boya, and MUSHREF MOHAMMED QASEM SAEED was honored with the Best Popularity Award of the competition.
Moreover, multiple teams from our college were awarded the Third Prize in the national finals. In the provincial selection rounds, our teams swept multiple awards, including First, Second, and Third Prizes. These outstanding achievements owe much to the dedicated guidance provided throughout the competition by more than ten faculty members, including Chen Lu, He Zhengqi, Ly Suyu, Xu Juanjuan, Yu Feifei, Yuan Meng, Zhang Jiemin, Zhong Shuxin, Zhu Yanli, Li Guangming, and Yan Xiang.
The Charoen Pokphand Cup National Market Survey and Analysis Competition is a significant event included in the 2023 National College Student Competition Analysis Report directory, which was published by the China Association of Higher Education. Our college is specifically responsible for organizing this competition at the university level. Due to our outstanding organizational efforts, we were honored with the Best Institutional Organization Award (International Student Category) by the competition's organizing committee.
Our college has always regarded academic competitions as a crucial platform for practical education, and has dedicated efforts to building a comprehensive competition cultivation system that covers undergraduate, master, doctoral, and international student cohorts. Through organizing and participating in the Market Survey and Analysis Competition, we have effectively enhanced students' capabilities in market research, data analysis, and complex problem-solving, significantly boosting their employability competitiveness and innovative thinking.
