The delegation was jointly received by Professor Lan Huong, Dean of the Business School of National Economics University, and Associate Professor Pham Sy Long, Deputy Director of the Office of International Cooperation. Both sides introduced the latest developments of their respective institutions and schools, and focus on discussing the joint graduate degree programs and mutual summer student exchange visits, reaching preliminary cooperation intentions. In addition, the two parties held in-depth communications regarding the organization of sub-forum activities and call for papers for the IFEAMA conference to be held in Nanjing in October.

During the visit to Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE), the delegation was received by Vice President NGUYEN HOANG GIANG. Associate Dean Zhang Hengjie provided an overview of the existing collaborations between Hohai University and HUCE, and extended an invitation for the Vice President to participate in the 110th anniversary celebrations of Hohai University. Thuyloi University is one of the earliest Vietnamese institutions to establish cooperation with our university. The delegation was welcomed by Dean Ngoc Bui Thi of the Faculty of Accounting and Management. The two parties engaged in in-depth discussions on degree program collaboration and the establishment of joint research centers.

University of Economics and Finance, Ho Chi Minh City (UEF) is the largest business institution in southern Vietnam and holds a significant position within the national higher education system. This visit has further strengthened the ties between Hohai University and Vietnamese higher education institutions, facilitating the substantive advancement of cooperative initiatives. Our school will leverage this exchange as an opportunity to establish long-term mechanisms for Sino-Vietnamese faculty-student exchanges, cooperative education programs, and joint research initiatives. These efforts will provide a broader platform for academic interaction, promote the sharing and complementarity of educational resources, and contribute to the development of the mutually beneficial comrades and brothers relationship between China and Vietnam.
